Welcome to the website for the Eric Stewart History Collection, an archival collection housed at the Forest Grove City Library. This collection contains newspaper clippings, pamphlets, photographs, memorabilia and other items dealing with the history of the city of Forest Grove, its businesses, institutions, and the people who lived there. Additional information about several towns within Washington County are also included.

Here you can learn more about this unique collection including what topics the contents cover and find out more about who Eric Stewart was. This site also gives you the opportunity to ask the History Room staff  questions concerning the collection and its contents using an online form.

In addition, you will also find, under the Resources page, links to other institutions and websites dealing with local Washington County and Oregon history.

Finally, for those interested in becoming involved with the Eric G. Stewart History Room, check out the "How I Can Help" page for more information.

Continue to browse these blog entries for highlights of topics found inside the collection written by History Room library staff and volunteers. We hope you enjoy exploring this site, and that you will come check out the collection in person when you have the chance!

Thanks for visiting!
